Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs) - Evidence Based Research
A study released in 2019 by lead researcher Dr. Christina Bethell found that out of 6,000 adults at Johns Hopkins, Positive Childhood Experiences could buffer against the health effects of traumatic ones.
Dr. Bethel’s research demonstrated something with Positive Childhood Experiences that the scientific community refers to as a “dose effect”.
The more positive childhood experiences young people receive, the better their mental health is likely to be later as adults.
